Those super rich fella only know about berapa billion billion projects …

They never look at their expenses because ‘ah kong’ pay one.
They don’t even bother to look at their payslip bcos the digits are too tiny compare to billion billion projects …
They don’t know how suffering it is now for average income family, what more the poor ones bcos they all live in their billion billion heaven …
“Where got time for those suffering in hell? That’s their problem. Ask they to cut their living expenses la”

….. We are alive but not kicking … we are struggling …
    … We tak boleh …
… Only billion billion projects BOLEH … Only “they” boleh … That’s y, we always see them screaming “BOLEH, BOLEH” with a big smile on the face, and all smiles in the heart …. :)

My dad & family managed to survive with even less (ratio) of salary year ago by being thrifty.
We usually walk or take public transport to schools to anywhere mostly. Dad started as a clerk – finance 2 homes, 1 @ PJ another @ Kg. 4 kids, 2 elder parents, oh yeah + my mum :D

As kids, tak der pocket money..where got. Only once a while get RM0.10 or RM0.30 the most. Usually bring roti/tupper ware food, most time nothing. During school holidays, we’ll either work at grocery stores or help out some factories minor stuffs. Then as teenagers, work in office as admins/minor officers or waitressing. It’s not that bad, get to develop character and become more “street smart” a bit. Get to socialize and meet people beside earning own pocket money.

We never took tuition, but kinda learn languages by listening to various mass media. Kinda brain damaged at times. None of us were genius but we all did above average mostly. Usually excel in what we’ve passionately. I rmbr back thn. as kids, we all hated ourself for being looked down coz. not as wealthy compare to 80% of the kids in school & ppl. around the area that could always afford more.
But eventually it turns out okay or even better.
With proper planning financially & etc, my dad retired early around 50. Got his own house. Managed to pay for majority of the kids college/uni. financially. We all grad. got jobs, turn out ok. Pretty much (major) debts free.

There’s a saying if you’re not happy with the environment, either you change yourself or you change your environment (by moving else where or getting a job at other countries).
I used to think money is everything, got offers from Dubai & other countries, but woah the security…

I don’t listen much to politicians, adds more stress and tension dramas aje. As for the 3K, I don’t know why in every 6-7 fresh grads. I’ve met with no experience they want to get 3K. or even 2.5K. Yet dn’t want to work for it.

I believe Malaysia BOLEH, don’t look down on yourself.. look at those successful ones, Jimmy Choo, Mich.Yeoh, etc. ..if tak boleh in malaysia.. go else where..coz Malaysia Boleh maaah! go else where spread your wing find better option in other countries.

Honestly if you dig back your roots, e.g mine for example due to the Revolutions in China, poverty & natural disasters my grandparents travelled to find food & jobs with nothing. Thn. my dad started with nothing even close to Diploma. Along d’way been to several countries.
I believe for someone to excel, one need to go to places to develop their experience & expand their horizon.(not physically ler). Come let’s go Sg./Aus. :P

    Meals for a happy family: RM775 << holy cow that’s a looot.

I think a lot of family survives with less than RM3000, but they live decently, not lavishly. I am also saddened by the price hike news recently. This is reality, must work extra hard to live the life we want.

The best is for the husband and wife to work, so perhaps with a combined income of RM10k will be sufficient to sustain the whole family. Still wont be lavish but u can have astro and internet facility.

that is why we have banks who give us interest. but will need to suffer a bit in the beginning. once the interest becoome very high then baguslah. still we should save early when we are very young.
