Just about to move out my parents house.. What do I need? Which insurance companies give the CHEAPEST?
I am planning to move into an apartment by myself and I basically get 800/month. What do I need? Insurance? Loans?
How does it all work?
Because I need to learn and I don’t really want any surprise bills and payments.
And when it comes to buying a used car.. do I need a car loan?
Car insurance?
What insurance company would be great and cheap that covers everything?

You won”t have to insure the apartment in most states, but you may want renters insurance to protect against loss thru fire or theft.Loans are not a good idea to try to support yourself with. The payments will eat you up and eventually you will be overextended. Also, see if utilities are included. If not, you could get some very high bills. To buy a car, look for a used model. at $800.00 per month, you have about 1/4 the income you really need to be comfortable. So tighted up the belt, and don’t count on too many nights out. Also, if you intend to share expenses with a roommate, forget it. You can’t sublet, or count on a room buddie to stay and pay a fair share. As for a car, go to the used car lots and look for something in a limited range, say $2500 which you can finance with a couple hundred down, add license fee, and insurance. If you are very young, the cost of insurance will be more than the cost of the vehicle.YOU HAVE TO shop around for cost effective deals, not all companies charge the same in even close locations.

you should go to http://vilasta.com/?insurance . You just have to input some information and they do the researching for you in your area basically. i found it easier than going to each insurance company and getting a quote, its all in one place.
