UK buildings insurance for house under construction?
I have purchased offplan a new house.
Now the roof and walls are on. The mortgage people want me to take out buildings insurance at this stage.
I cannot find any company or broker who take this on.

What you need, is called “builders risk” insurance. Any local broker SHOULD be able to do it.
